Snowfall: 3 Important Questions Following The Season 5 Finale
It’s safe to say that for many fans of Snowfall, Season 5 has been a bit of a disappointment. But how? This season focused on the downside of being at the top. For the first 4 seasons, Franking Saint and crew have dealt with minor setbacks and issues. This season was focused on growth, heart, betrayal, new alliances being formed, and tragedy.
One thing is for certain, after what transpired during the Season 5 finale, nothing will be the same in Los Angeles. Franklin is on a warpath and this time, he has the KGB behind him. Louie and Jerome are atop the throne, Avi is dead, Gustavo is in jail, Leon and Wanda left the country, and Teddy is still making too many mistakes
Here are the 3 important questions following the Season 5 finale of Snowfall.
Who Did Veronica Call?
All season, we’ve heard the stories regarding veronica and her mother and how they ran scams all over the world. But as Season 5 began to wind down, many wondered if Veronica was running one on Franklin. With she and Frankin set to start a family, she wanted Franklin out of the game. He assured her that he was done, but that was until he learned that Teddy has seized all his money. At the end of Season 5, Veronica made a phone call to someone asking for help. Who was it?
By all accounts, the arrows are pointing towards her mother. If so, was she calling on her behalf or her’s and Franklin’s? Does Veronica have ties with a rival dealer or even the government? Who was on the other end of that call? She did ask Franklin if he needed help before he set his plan in motion and he turned her down but she seems to truly love Franklin and that call could be beneficial to him moving forward.
Is Alton Really Dead
This is a question I’ve been wrestling with since Season 5 began. Is Alton Saint really dead? No one has admitted to anything and even Cissy has not spoken about him at length. All viewers saw was Teddy standing behind him in Cuba with a gun in his hand. The story is that he suffered an accident but is that really what transpired? Remember, we have no idea how long Cissy and Alton were in Cuba before Teddy found them.

With Cissy now friends with the KGB, it leaves open the possibility that while in Cuba, Cissy and Alton met up with them in order to save themselves from Teddy and the US Government. But what if that was all Teddy’s plan? Let’s think, we have not seen Teddy and Cissy in the same room in Season 5? All this could be a plan of Alton’s to get his son out of the game.
Will Jerome Come to His Senses
Blood is supposed to be thicker than water. However, we know this is not always the case, especially when money, power, and matters of the heart are concerned. Jerome and Franklin have always had a tight relationship. But Louie has put him in a tight spot with his nephew and there have been a few times where Jerome wanted to say something but he backs off. His loyalty is being tested but who does he side with, his wife or nephew?
With a war between the two brewing, will Jerome admit that his wife is crossing the line and try to talk sense into her or will he just let it go and go with the wave? Now that his sister Cissy is siding with Franklin, this could get ugly for Jerome if he decides to go against the family. As we can see, wherever Franklin meets with Louie and discusses business, Jerome is hardly ever there. Will Jerome second guess his decision, especially after he finds out that Franklin robbed him and there were death threats between his wife and nephew?
