Aquaman Needs To Be Featured At Six Flags

Aquaman

There’s a lot of potential for Six Flags upcoming attractions. With the success of Aquaman, you’d think the chain would want to incorporate that character into their parks. They’ve used almost every DC character (some even twice) including, Supergirl and Cyborg. So, what might An Aquaman ride look like?

Everyone wants to see an Aquaman ride at Six Flags. Obviously, it needs to involve water in some way. The question is, will it be a coaster, or something different? There are many ways to go about this. One ride, in particular, stands out the most.

Walabi Belgium is essentially the Six Flags of Europe, along with Walabi Holland. It’s for good reason as well. Six Flags used to own both parks. These were the parks only European properties. While the theme park chain had no influence in the parks after 2004, they set the standard for what the park is today.

This brings us to Pulsar, one of Walabi Belgium’s signature attractions. It’s a MACK Power Splash. The ride, which was developed by a German manufacturer, MACK Rides, is one of only a few to in the world. To this date, there are none in the USA.

As you can see, this coaster relies heavily on water. It’s the perfect choice for an Aquaman themed ride. Anything water related would work, but, this coaster is perfect. You want something intimidating and fierce to name after Aquaman, and this is the ride you do that with.

While a power splash is an ideal choice, there are other rides to theme Aquaman too. You could easily do a log flume or river rapids. All Six Flags would need to do is re-theme some of the details in the ride itself. This might be a bit cheaper than building an entirely new coaster.

Six Flags plans out their rides years in advance. Unless they’ve got a water attraction in development, don’t expect them to suddenly try and capture the Aquaman market. The success of the movie and character might give them the incentive to inquire about a power splash or other water ride.

It’s also possible that Six Flags bought a few power splash’s from MACK (Which wouldn’t be surprising, seeing as Six Flags buys rides in bulk), waiting for the perfect opportunity to unveil them. With the amount of cash Aquaman is bringing in, don’t be surprised if Six Flags gives one or two parks a power splash themed to Aquaman next year.
