How the XFL will have an indirect affect on WWE

Vince McMahon is set to revive the XFL. It’s been known for some time now that Vince McMahon was planning on reviving the league that was successful for one year. At the press conference earlier in the week, it was revealed that the kickoff for the XFL will occur the weekend following Super Bowl 55. Since Vince McMahon will more than likely be focusing a lot of attention to this new league, it will be interesting to see what happens with him in the WWE.

For starters, I highly suspect he will still be involved with the promotion. However, by the time the XFL starts, it won’t be as much. I suspect that Triple H will probably get more creative control on Raw and Smackdown. It’s been known for some time that Triple H is next in line. We see how successful NXT has been under the watch of Hunter. It would be nice to see that on the main roster. I figure Vince McMahon will be kept in the loop. However, I find it kind of odd to see him still have all creative control.

As a fan, there are a few things I hope Triple H were to do, if he were to take over most of the creative control. For starters, I would love to see him use guys who we rarely see and guys who are booked badly. Some examples are Apollo Crews, Bobby Roode, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt and others. In addition, integrating NXT and the main roster who also be something I’d like to see. In the build towards Seth Rollins taking on Triple H at WrestleMania 33, they used NXT. Seth Rollins took over the takeover before Royal Rumble. If we saw more of that, then it would drive people to purchase the Network.
