NFL Draft: Which Top Receiver Will Have The Biggest Impact?

NFL Draft Prospect Kyle Pitts

There’s no doubt that this NFL Draft will be talked about for a few years when it comes to quarterbacks. However, with how deep the receiver position is, there’s plenty at stake to take a top-tier prospect. Who will be the biggest difference-maker?

Ja’Marr Chase

Chase had a solid career at LSU and Joe Burrow benefited heavily from his size and speed. Now there’s talk that they’ll want to reunite the two in Cincinnati. The only problem is, we’ve seen this dance before. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green were the Bengals’ biggest connection over the past few years and even with the solid talent to balance the offense out, they couldn’t get over the hump. If Chase winds up in a Bengals uniform, he’ll make an impact, but they’ll still lack the wins.

Kyle Pitts

Pitts has been rumored to land with just about every team in the top 10 at one point except for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Before the Jets traded away Darnold, there were whispers they could take him at 2, then the Dolphins were going to at 3, now the Falcons at 4. If the 49ers miss their mark, there’s no reason they still can’t be in the mix. Pitts might be the most sought-after tight end of the past few years. Depending on where he lands, he could be a game-changer.

Devonta Smith

Smith is going to be a wild card. He might get passed up because of size and slide down draft boards. He might not fall further than 6 when the Miami Dolphins draft. Either way, he’s got the quickness to be a chain mover. The only thing to worry about when it comes to his size is who else is lining up with him. If he goes to a team that is thin at WR he might fade quickly. If he’s got a powerhouse offense, he can easily break out.

Jaylen Waddle

Waddle might not get as much attention as the rest of the group by the media, but teams will be in when it comes to draft night. He could reunite with his former QB Tua Tagovailoa, or the current Eagles QB campaigning for him in Jalen Hurts. Waddle might be the underdog but can easily change the fortune of a franchise with the right quarterback

So with all the hype coming out of this week’s NFL Draft, who will be the top receiving impact after day one?
